In this post we will focus on the history of the series of My Little Pony over the course of whole three decades. When it comes to My little Pony there are two different timelines: one for the toys and one for the cartoons. We will be explaining more details as we continue on. My Little Pony was initially created in 1981. But the actual animations did not show up until 1984. It first appearance was on TV Special and it was called Rescue in a Midnight Castle. The feedback was certainly positive because another special show up one year latter, which was called Escape from Katrina. Both episodes confirmed that all little girls simply loved My Little Ponies. So, what is a better way to satisfied their demand than to make a movie for the big screen. Unfortunately the movie was not profitable as it was expected, but at least they tried. The movie was a flawed, they failed in ticket sales and the critics were not kind either. There are many My Little Pony games that you can play for free.

In 1986 My Little Pony appeared once again on television, but this time as in series. It was called My Little Pony and Friends and it was just as successful as the previous TV Specials. It included the same cast, the same setting, the same everything. You must be thinking that this show must have been lane, but little girls fall in love with it all over again.

Pink ponies talking, tea parties, playing Pretty, pretty princess all the time, are not activities that boys would not get interested in. Well, surprisingly they also had some nasty monsters who showed up now and then to challenge the ponies. So, it was not rare to see boys watch the show.

My Little Pony and Friends ended in 1987 and five years latter the cartoon went to a transformation. In 1992 My Little Pony returned to television with new series, called My Little Pony Tales. Along with the new title came other changes. The main characters started walking, went to school and many other things that make realize that MLP were going to another direction compared to the last series. Here we ask ourselves Why? Why did they do that? Well, many girls that have been watching the series 5 years ago were now all grown up, so they certainly needed something to relate to. The series only lasted for several months, when it ended in December 1992.

It took almost a decade to bring back the My Little Pony series on TV. From 1992 to 2003 was a long period, so long that it missed an entire generation and a lot was changed. The characters and the stories were extremely simple.

The creation of the generation 4 was a transformation that no one has expected. The new series began in 2010, called My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. It is worth mentioning that the show followed educational levels, because of its target audience. Another outstanding and very popular aspect of the show was the music. MLP Winter Wrap Up was a song about the ponies cleaning up the town to make way for spring. It has over 1 million views on You Tube, while This Day Aria has astonishing 39,370,274 views.

My Little Pony made a huge splash on the web and it was very well received on the television too. Everyone simply loves them.
